December 7, 2007, Newsletter Issue #93: Dealing with Multiples

Tip of the Week

When looking for or moving in with multiple roommates, there are many things to consider. If you are not already friends with your new roommates, discuss personal likes, dislikes, and boundaries. Another issue that should be discussed before moving in is the division of expenses. This can get sticky when there are more that two people involved. Decide how all household expenses will be divided, including groceries. It can be hard for four people to share one fridge, so make sure you have a game plan!
