Tip of the Week

Need to find a roommate in Washington? Washington D.C. is a very large and diverse city, so finding a roommate can present a hard challenge. Fortunately, many services are available to simplify your roommate search. Make your roommate search easier by developing a list of basic roommate requirements. Some good examples of roommate “deal-breakers” include; smoker vs. non-smoker, pets or no pets, male or female, etc. After you’ve selected a potential roommate, you may want to conduct a background check on this person before signing the lease. Many roommate locator services can refer you to a service for credit and background checks.
